Gli Uccelli un film del 1963 diretto da Alfred Hitchcock

Bizzarra segnalazione : “pioggia” di storni morti. Scena in perfetto stile Hitchcock sulla statale 17.

Episodio curioso, e anche piuttosto inquietante per chi ha assistito e riferito a #dilloalcapoluogo, nei giorni scorsi sulla statale 17, tra Bazzano e la stazione di Paganica. Una giovane donna, di rientro da Pescara, stava percorrendo la statale in direzione L’Aquila, quando ha notato l’auto davanti – una Golf grigia – fare strane manovre a zig zag. Una frazione di secondo e la giovane ha capito il motivo delle strane manovre: l’auto che precedeva stava cercando di evitare quella che è stata definita come una vera e propria “pioggia” di storni che cadevano letteralmente dal cielo. A rendere la scena ancora più inquietante, la quantità di uccelli che cadevano, come se i componenti di uno stesso stormo fossero tutti morti all’istante. Dopo l’iniziale spavento, la donna ha proseguito il viaggio verso L’Aquila, senza però segnalare l’episodio all’autorità competente.

Dal comando dei Carabinieri del Corpo Forestale spiegano infatti che non sono giunte segnalazioni a riguardo, nemmeno dalla prima auto capitata sotto l’inquietante episodio, considerato piuttosto strano. Nessuna segnalazione neppure all’apposito servizio Asl, comunque l’episodio segnalato a #dilloalcapoluogo non sembra essere unico, per quanto raro.

A gennaio di quest’anno un episodio simile era stato segnalato a Roma: come scriveva Il Messaggero nell’occasione, «”Gli uccelli cadono morti in terra”, dicono i residenti. È stata allertata la protezione civile che sta organizzando un sopralluogo congiunto con la Asl e uffici del Campidoglio. I corpi dei volatili sono rimasi in strada sul marciapiede e nel mezzo della carreggiata con i passanti esterefatti costretti a passare tra gli uccelli morti per cause ancora ignote. Un incubo per automobilisti e residenti. Ai turisti con il naso puntato all’insù si alternano quelle di passanti costretti a fare slalom tra marciapiedi e strade per ripararsi dagli sgradevoli regali che al momento dell’arrivo degli uccelli piovono dal cielo. Ma ora quello che tutti si chiedono è: perché gli storni finiscono sull’asfalto morti? “Il Dipartimento di Tutela Ambientale di Roma Capitale si è immediatamente attivato insieme alla Protezione Civile per affrontare la moria di storni verificatasi in alcune zone della città. Sui luoghi è intervenuto l’ufficio animali problematici del Dipartimento mentre Asl e Istituto Zooprofilattico sono stati coinvolti al fine di indagare sulle cause del fenomeno”. Lo comunica il Campidoglio. “In questi casi, la rimozione delle carcasse degli animali è affidata alla Asl che provvede anche alla loro distruzione. I resti degli uccelli sono stati già rimossi dalla Asl che li ha avviati all’incenerimento mentre alcuni esemplari sono stati prelevati dall’Istituto Zooprofilattico per i normali esami diagnostici. Ama è stata già coinvolta per la successiva pulizia e sanificazione di strade e marciapiedi secondo le procedure indicate dalle autorità sanitarie intervenute nelle operazioni”, conclude la nota».

Le cause dello strano fenomeno restano comunque un mistero.
